Partnerships
Modern Sport Culture considers collaborations that fit its coverage of sport, its customs and the ways people understand games. Commercial arrangements do not determine editorial conclusions, and every placement must be recognisable as a partnership.
Possible collaborations
We consider clearly scoped projects such as commissioned explanatory material, event or publication collaborations, and relevant partner placements across the site. Proposals should identify the organisation or product, intended audience, proposed format, timing and any requested editorial involvement. We do not imply that a collaboration amounts to an endorsement.
Placement and labelling
Partner placements may appear in agreed site areas, including recurring placements visible across multiple pages, where suitable. Commercial material is labelled in context so readers can tell it apart from independent editorial coverage. Partner links are identified as such, and paid inclusion does not guarantee a particular position or positive description.
Editorial boundaries
Partners may provide information relevant to a collaboration, but Modern Sport Culture retains control of editorial decisions and clear labelling. We do not accept arrangements that require unsupported claims, concealed commercial intent or control over independent coverage. Send a concise proposal through the Contact page for consideration.
A game has more than one kind of score
Rules, rituals and playing spaces tell their own stories. We make those details easier to notice without treating one way of watching sport as the only way.
